Strongly recommend for a city holiday

Clean room, inviting staff, great breakfast buffet, which included a variety of options and was perfectly located near wine country, making it easy to explore nearby attractions.

We had a fantastic time at this hotel, especially enjoying the beautiful poolside area and the cozy fire pit for evening relaxation. The only drawback was the limited outdoor seating, which was a bit crowded at times. Overall, I'd recommend trying out the pool. it's absolutely worth it! 🌞

The pool area was a splashy hit, and the bar served some real thirst-quenchers! Also, the staff were super friendly and made our stay cozy.

The check-in process took longer than expected due to overbooking. they needed to improve communication. Minor inconveniences were manageable amidst the pleasant atmosphere. Overall, a good stay for my vacation getaway.

I had a fantastic time at this hotel. The clean, spacious room came with a microwave and fridge, which made my stay comfortable. I loved the outdoor pool area complete with a fire pit, perfect for relaxing evenings. The location was ideal, with easy access to both San Francisco and wine country. Plenty of nearby dining options. One improvement could be clearer signage around the hotel.

great access to parks and landmarks for weekend explorers

I had a fantastic time exploring nearby China Camp State Park, just a lovely 2 km stroll away, and Lagoon Park, which is also nearly 2 km from the hotel, making it super easy to enjoy the beautiful nature around San Rafael. The staff were friendly and the room was clean and spacious, perfect for unwinding after a day of city walking, but they could improve their knowledge of local services a bit.

Had a great time with friends! The pool was perfect for relaxing after kayaking, and we even enjoyed sailing on the nearby waters. It’s a chill spot close to wine country and a quick drive from San Francisco. The rooms were clean and spacious, making it a fantastic choice for a group getaway.

One downside was the staff's lack of knowledge about local services and recommendations. We asked for suggestions on hair salons, but they seemed unsure of what was available, which was a bit frustrating.

The outdoor pool area was a true oasis, complete with a cozy fire pit and comfy seating for lounging. My room was a delight, featuring a large screen TV and a view of the Golden Gate Bridge that made every moment special. Plus, the convenient location off the 101 made it super easy to explore nearby attractions!

It was just a good pick for a couple of nights in San Rafael with good value for cost. The pool area was nice. Be cautious of the parking lot at night.
